Javier Rionda General Director Guanajuato & Professor

Hola amigos! I was born in the city of Guanajuato, Mexico. After studying tourism administration and economics at the university, I received a scholarship to study Japanese at the University of Soka in Tokyo, Japan. There I began teaching Spanish as a second language. It became my passion. For the next 23 years, I taught my native tongue to individuals and prepared Spanish teachers in schools all over the world, Japan, Turkey, the United States, and Mexico to name a few. I am very excited about coming back to where I grew up and am excited about sharing my love and my knowledge of this wonderful city.

Rojelio Granda Director of Studies & Professor

Hello everyone!
My journey began in Cuernavaca, Morelos, where I discovered my passion for teaching. While completing a double major in Spanish Education and Latin American History, I started teaching Spanish as a foreign language—something I’ve now been doing for over twenty years. I specialize in innovative teaching methods that make learning engaging and effective. With experience across all levels of Spanish, I also prepare students for the DELE and SIELE exams. Currently, I work in Guanajuato, training instructors and Spanish teachers from around the world. In addition, I teach a Medical Terminology program. ✨ ¡Siempre son bienvenidos a mi clase! ✨

Valeria Cardenas Teacher and Marketing

Hola, soy Valeria! I was born and raised in Michoacán, where I studied Hispanic Literature and Language at Universidad Michoacana (UMSNH). Since I was a child, I’ve been fascinated by the history of Spanish, its rules, and all the grammar that surrounds it. In 2024, I moved to the city of Guanajuato, and that’s when I began sharing my love for Spanish with students from all over the world. Teaching Spanish as a second language has allowed me not only to accompany others on their learning journey, but also to share the beauty and diversity of Mexican culture. It’s truly something that I deeply enjoy. Hope to see you soon!
